baguette cut 1/2 inch slices

Tuscan Herb EVOO*

Mozzarella cheese,cut into 1/4 inch slices
3
ripe plum tomatoes, cut into 1/4 inch slices

Fresh basil leaves, plus extra for garnish

chopped fresh flat leaf parsley for garnish
Aged Balsamic Vinegar* for drizzle
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450
Slice bread and arrange on a baking sheet
Brush 1/2 the olive oil on bread and bake 3-5 minutes, until just golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside
Make 16 stacks - start with bread, then slice of mozzarella, then a slice of tomato and then a basil leaf
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then repeat ending with a piece of bread
Push a skewer through each stack and place on a baking sheet
Drizzle kabobs with remaining oil and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese begins to melt
Drizzle with Aged Balsamic and garnish with basil and parsley
