Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds Green Beans, trimmed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt, divided
  • 1/4 cup Basil EVOO*
  • 1/2 tsp Turbinado sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

Instructions
 

  • Place green beans in a Dutch oven, add water and 1 tsp salt
  • Bring to. boil, cover, reduce heat for 10 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside
  • In a saucepan, mix the EVOO, sugar, garlic, salt and pepper, then add the tomatoes, cooking just until heated through
  • Pour tomato mixture over the beans and gently toss. Serve hot
