Apple Chutney
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup Tangerine Puree'vino Vinegar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 1/2 tsp Himalayan Pink Sea Salt
- 3-4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced 1/2 inch
- 3/4 cup Golden raisins and dried cranberries, mixed
Instructions
- Combine onion, orange juice, Puree'vino vinegar, brown sugar and salt in a medium sauce pan
- Add apples as you chop them to keep them from turning brown
- Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally
- Reduce heat and simmer for 50-60 minutes, stirring occasionally until most of the liquid has evaporated
- Stir in raisins and cranberries
- Serve arm, at room temperature, or cold
